2000th post!

I don't usually care about my post count on this forum or others, but I happened to notice I was at 2,000 and I decided to acknowledge it. I thought I would post some pics of me playing these cool instruments. (see below)

I have really had a great time being an active participant in this forum for the last several years. I also of course have really enjoyed playing my Music Man guitars. Back in 2006 I was suffering from a lot of chronic pain - I was really down physically and emotionally. I decided that I would buy a 'nice' guitar to help me deal with these issues. Much to my surprise, it did really help. It gave me something to get my mind off the pain and have something positive to focus on. I have since started playing with bands for the first time since high school in the late 80s. (Thankfully I am physically much better than I was 4 years ago as well.)

Thanks to EBMM for making such cool guitars and providing a great forum, and thanks to you fellow knuckleheads for sharing the love of these guitars.

to show you how old I must be here are some pics of the inside
of my camper shell... the GD sticker has been altered to have the Co flag center on the head... minus the gold. It's a weird sticker as the steal your face logo is underpinned with shakedown street ----two different albums

Yeah my avatar is the Grateful Dead “Steal your Face” logo. (I love the Grateful Dead). I am into metal too, but I typically play classic rock stuff.

About my picking style, I never noticed it until I saw some photos of me playing that I did hold my right hand like Morse……that’s about all we have in common when it comes to my playing style. I do like the Morse guitar alot, but prefer a forearm contour, so I tend to gravitate to the Silos.

The beer in the 5th pic is a normal 12oz Newcastle (They ran out of Sierra Nevada that night).

Awesome 2K! Love the live shots. Glad you are feeling better too. Nothing quite as therapeutic for the mind as playing guitar, IMO. Looking forward to the next 2k.

I used to have long hair as a teenager and I grew it back again about a year ago. It may not last.......
