2005 LE Silo Special

Do all 2005 LE Silo Specials come with a birdseye maple neck? Also are there different colors other than buttercream? I've seen some that look more yellowish.

Buttercream was the 2005 LE so no other colors would be available. As far as the birdseye question I'm not sure.

Birdseye is the luck of the draw. It's so hard to source and it's expensive. It is usually used for the signature models first.

never seen a silo with birdseye for a long time, only the 80s and early 90's ones had some birdseye.

hardly seen an Axis or Albert without birdseye!

Those older silo's are nice and collectible for that very reason

problem is, with those older ones they all have a laquered neck. when did EBMM change to oil/wax neck finish, I figure around 1991/92, anyone know?
