Ok, here are 8 pics that I snapped this evening. I used "almost direct" sunlight, direct sunlight, then flash. The original Blue Dawn is obviously the same as the 2007 LE Blue Dawn. Any discrepancies in color & "sparkle content" between NAMM show photos, outdoor photos, flash photos, and indoor natural light photos can be attributed solely to the lighting used for that particular photo. Bottom line is, if you take a picture of an older Blue Dawn and a new 2007 LE under the same lighting conditions, you will see that the paint is the same.
Blue Dawn is not an outrageous sparkle, it is a subdued & sophisticated sparkle.

These last two pics show the '07 LUKE and '01 Axis Sport looking different when switched from the front of the photo to the rear - Notice how the AL in the middle (which does not change position) appears the same.
