The models will only come with the standard options we offer. The JP will be rosewood only, the Albert maple only..ect
I think this only applies to the 2008 LE, not to the other JP's. It's just my guess though.
Post your questions here!
My questions:
- Does the JP Baritone ship in a larger case to accommodate its larger size?
- How much heavier is the instrument than the normal BFR? than the basswood JP?
- Does the baritone ship with gauge 13,17,24p,36,48,66 and tuned in A?
Awesome, thanks!

Here's a dumb question for the ranks. Can the BFR JP Bari be ordered with a piezo or is that not a good idea for such low frequencies? Also, can the JP Bari's be ordered without the JP inlays? Thanks. This could be a bankrupter.![]()

^^^ That's Funny! No, we're gonna fold it in half and ship it in a guitar case -- no, Dan
Bummer that the piezo is only on the JP LE 08, i was looking forward to the LE 08 ASS w/piezo, oh well, i'll still buy one anyway i guess just not a LE, no complaints from me!! BFR AL is sweet, great we can choose quilt or flame!!!!
The John Petrucci is not available in maple, Limited Edition or otherwise. No way and no how. Sorry guys.
Dan
Here's a question... how soon till the 2008 Sequoia Gold models start to be produced/hit stores?
I guess it still needs to be confirmed Colin, unless Dargin was talking about the BFR AL w/no rosewood rather than the LE. Wait and see i guess.
There will be no rosewood on the LE AL. Drop a PM to dargin and got a reply.
LE's option will be per standard option.![]()
