this is a far shot but could it be an '84 reissue (well, actually '85) of some sort with the skunk strip, poly finished neck, bullet truss rod, string mutes and maybe even a slab body?

I'm with Foggy on the acoustics. Hopefully the 25th Anniversary will be a universal option on all models... if not, I'll still try to order something.
