Being a massive fan of EB in the UK....when are we going to see the new models? Or is it all special order?

I particularly like the new 25th Anniversary with H/S/S. Thats the one for me! Am I right in thinking, after reading 69 pages, that that colour is for the 25th Anniversary...then in 2009 you can pick up the bass as normal with the same configurations?

Stealth black Stingray. I have a standard black Stingray and I thought that was tasty already! Is Stealth Black now going to be an option from now on with Stingrays?

Any idea of who to contact in the UK to look at getting on a 'list' for one of these amazing creations?!

IN ADDITION -the 25th Anniversary 'Monster' bass is such a nice sight...more so now Ive seen the Maple version. I love maple. Far too much.

God those 25th's look awesome! One question, will we be able to specify quilt or flame top?

All EBMM's are made to order, but it may be that Strings & Things will be ordering some 25th's for their own stock. Pete (Blind Lemon on the forum) is the Big Cheddar at S&T, so he may be able to give you a better indication of that.

Depending on whereabouts in the UK you are, there are a good selection of dealers that carry EBMM's. Machinehead, over in Hitchin, Guitars 4 You in Ashbourne and Sounds Great in Cheadle are just 3 that instantly spring to mind. Alternatively, if you have a favourite shop that stocks EBMM, then you should be able to get a price indication from them.

The 25ths will be in this colour, although I'm not sure what will happen after that. I think it was mentioned that they'll become production items, but don't hold me to that.

Is there any future plans to offer any of the pickguardless styles as regular production instruments without the quilt top and maybe a bit more affordable? I love that singlecut look but doubt I'll ever be able to scrape the scratch together for one.

It will be coming out as a regular production bass in 2010 (next year)...not sure what you mean by affordable. IMO, you are getting a lot more bang for the buck with an EBMM than most other manufacturers.
