Hello everyone!
So, I have a VERY memorable 200th post to make here! This week has already been kind of monumental since I received my Ph. D. diploma, but I digress. I have been kind of getting overwhelmed with gear lately, and the only guitar I have been playing was my JP12. I made the decision over the week that I was going to downsize, and given this weekend's 15% Guitar Center Trade-A-Thon thingy, I figured it was time to make my move. I decided to take my excess guitars, and those I wasn't playing any longer out of the equation. Long story short, got myself a brand spanking new JPXI-6 (hence the NGD). I was also left with a large amount of credit left over, so I also scored a TC Electronic DreamScape (NPD). And to top it all off, my Dad had ordered a custom Mark V in White with Black Diamond plate (insanely awesome-looking btw) which came in yesterday, freeing up his old Mark V, which I gladly traded him my Peavey 6505+ and Steve Morse Y2D for (NAD). Thus, the planets have aligned and I scored a new JPXI, a new JP DreamScape Pedal, and a new (to me!) Mark V within 24 hours and all for my 200th post! Anyways, I apologize for the rambling post, and...onto some shoddy pics taken in my den!

Thank you everyone! I'm totally loving the JPXI, I might even like it better than the JP12, but I'll have to put some more hours on it before I can say for sure.

What is the PHD in?
My Ph. D. is in Biological Sciences though its essentially Microbiology, which got me my current gig teaching General Microbiology at the University of Maine.

Congrats on a sensational week-Life is good FM. It is okay on a guitar forum but just dont scare anyone once you start work with a statement like "We will have to remove this-thingy" lmfao! Just joking with you of course but I have been zapped for grammar so many times by the "Grammar Nazi's" and you left me the opening so I had to take it. Seriously though your family must be awfuly proud as you have to be one brilliant guy to get a PHD in that field.
