Well the auction ended, but this is all that is shown on the page now.

This listing (320756808024) has been removed, or this item is not available.

Usually doesn't the item sold still show up on the page?

Hey John: Maybe our efforts finally paid off. I complained to E-Bay again last night, after the auction closed, and while the listing still showed as a completed listing. This morning the completed listing is gone. We possibly helped someone not get scammed.

They're coming from China. I found this website late last week.

iOffer: A Place to Buy, Sell & Trade

Average price is about $300 for Stingrays and JBs, as well as others.

They haven't perfected the MM copy but will one day get close. Check out some of their other products.

Apparently there are those who think they can pass them as the real deal. A shame.

A little homework would quickly reveal that this is a fake. If somebody out there is stupid enough to buy that P.O.S., then they deserve it.

4Play, perhaps you have never been scammed. I have, and it sucks. I don't think it hurts anyone, especially EBMM if the forum members do whatever they can to restrict these knock offs from being sold as originals.

Oh, that was more a comment on the fact that it had bids in the first place...not on everyone here pitching in and getting those auctions pulled. I'm all for stopping a scam before it happens.

mind you there are still places (even only an hour outside of a big city like Toronto) that have no internet access other than dial-up and no music store....if you weren't a gear hound and from a little rural community you could easily fall for something like this....
