Pete told me yesterday my Bongo has been painted. Still a few weeks away, but it exists.

Well, it seems like my bass is going to arrive at Bass Central on Friday and I'm going to be in town for Virgil Donati and Dave LaRue's concert, so I will pick it up myself

Good news, bad news. The good news is, my Bongo is finished and will likely ship out from EBMM tomorrow!
The bad news is, by the time it gets to my dealer I'll be heading out of town for a long-awaited vacation. So I won't see it until shortly after Labor Day. Though Pete has promised to send me some pics when it comes in, hopefully end of next week.
I knew this was going to happen.

Poor Pete...the same thing happened to me. I was on vacation in Florida when my neptune blue Luke III arrived in Connecticut.
Poor Pete...I just remembered that I was also in Flordia when my emerald green Luke III arrived at DuBaldo's. I'm sure he must think I was lying to stall for time to save up the loot. But, I was really in Florida twice.
