So the Door to Order an Instrument from the Latest PDN Offering is closing soon
What did you Guys order?

I couldn't decide Between a BFR JP Koa and a Bongo 5HH
I went for the Bongo since I wanted one for some Time now, and I love the more Natural Finish on it
The JP Koa was just too expensive for me right now, even though I would have Loved to get one with the Unfinished Flamed Maple Neck :(

Couldn't pull the trigger due to my recent purchase and my ownership of another tobacco burst. Can't wait to see what others have ordered.

I know that not all people want SS frets but you are paying a premium for these packages and thus should come with all of the premium upgrades.

Slightly off-topic but was this "Vintage Tobacco Burst" the same finish as the old "Tobacco Burst" finish that existed on the BFRs a few years back?

From another thread:

Hey A.J.,

What's the difference between this Tobacco Burst finish and the normal EBMM Tobacco Burst finish that's offered on most models? What am I missing? Just the alder body and tinted neck, or is something different about the finish?

-Jeff

Hey Jeff,

Differences:
-Middle color is different, we use a vintage tint, compared to trans gold on the standard tobacco burst
-Burst is black for this run instead of dark brown on standard tobacco. It is also thin/tighter/closer to the edge
-All models with binding will have bursted backs, such as Axis ;)

Note: necks are figured maple

I ordered nothing. Couldn't pull the trigger on a PDN without SS Frets, and I don't need another Axis with a Rosewood board! If I could get the SS and the tinted neck...
