Anyone notice that the standard maple necks were changed to roasted after the initial announcement? That makes these much more attractive.

I'll probably wire it up like my other one- 5-way Y2D switching, keeping the 3-way switch, and using the 'add bridge' toggle as a coil split. 500k volume pot with a treble bleed.
Not sure if I'll change out the humbuckers yet I really like the Transition pickups in my other Morse (it's a darker sounding guitar), but it'd be nice to have this one be different, and the stock humbuckers sound amazing in my Y2D.

interesting that you find the stock humbuckers much different in the Y2D than in the standard Morse.
the wiring sounds very useful, the important "add bridge" options are included in the Y2D-wiring, plus the "split option" - cool! Are you splitting both buckers or just the bridge?

For whatever reason, my Y2D is just more lively. I like the bridge pickup a lot in there, though it never quite had the same 'oomph' in my Morse. I know they're the same pickups, but hey, every guitar sounds a bit different.
I split both - though I don't really use the neck split.
Anyhow ... this is all putting the cart before the horse since I don't actually have the guitar yet
