Hey Homies, it's been forever, I've been taking a break from internet apart from essential use, but I missed you all. Almost all the local music stores near me have gone or are thin on stock so I was browsing an online pawnshop chain and came across an Earnie Ball (no, that's not a typo
)
It had 3 crappy pictures but I took a chance on it, it was also heavily reduced back to 2002 used prices, so it'll make a good door stop at the price... Anyway, it arrived, I cleaned it up, swapped out one of the pickup covers. Looks like the MM90's have been swapped for a Dimarzio Super Distortion and Virtual PAF. I am VERY Rusty with colours but I think this was burnt copper sparkle? I've upgraded the knobs to EB chrome domes cleaned it to death (And it still needs work!) I am pretty sure this was owned by a knucklehead beforehand, hit me up if it was you please? Silent circuit disconnected. the dimarzios in it are killer, but I am tempted to put it back to stock
Anyway, moral of the story is... well probably a bunch of 'em - 1. Always search spelling typos, 2. Knucklehead for life even if you don't need another guitar and 3. finding a 1999 Axis sport for less than Sterling money makes you smile, and do things that make you smile.
