I just got home from NAMM and all I can say is that the new silo rocks and it is beautiful. Also as not mentioned it has a mahogony block down the center of the alder body and the thing sounds heavy like a paul, awesome guitar, the pups remind me of the axis output wise so they are not paf style, anyway im goin to bed but i wanted to post my review, also the booth was really cool as usual with the caddyshack theme -

Norm your gonna love it, the shape is very silo like but it has no carving on the horns, plus with the mahogony block its a tone monster, it sounds heavy as hell and the pups are nice too, the finish is so nice they are almost too nice to gig with but i will have one anyway and I have a feeling they will continue to produce them after the year they were so popular at the show -

OK kids

Yesterday I flew to the namm show and back n time for the soundcheck for the Casey Le Ball Classic benefit. Dudley was my tech and he brought one of the mahoghany blocked
20th Silo's. WOW WOW WOW

the Band was John Ferraro, Cliffie, Luke, Mark Hart (crowded house , supertramp)Rodney Crowell, Bill Murray on guest vocals and Me on guitar. I start playing in the soundcheck and Rodney Ssays "let me play that tonight" I said "no way, Im playing it...then luke comes over and say your tone really good tonight whats that...he played it and said I want one!

I had sooo much fun with that guitar that it is in the number one slot. Dudley and I and Dargie were pretty happy after the gig...we felt like proud poppa's.

I just finished ushering the last stragglers from the clb classic. The team of gary hanser scotty ball brian ball sterling ball and Ian Leggett (pro) finished third net. Jimmy d'addarios team finished second gross with marty from gc.

Looks like we raised over $500,000 this weekend for pediatric kidney research......

I guess I have to ask now what Axis p'ups are like. I've always been more of s single coil guy. The only hum guitar I've ever owned is an Ibanez Lee Ritenour, which is a 335 style guitar with PAFish p'ups.

Big Poppa.....it is great that you and all the rest of the peeps raised that kind of money for a great cause.....wonderful things like the CLB Foundation exist.

As for the Silo.....I can't add any more than what has been said. Gorgeous!

Big Poppa,

No fair! I just got my Y2D and now you're making me want a guitar that is only available for a limited time! ;)

Here's hoping I get a lucky lottery ticket in the next few months... :)
