That's outrageous, definitely on my list of guitars to buy this year!

Norm, this has to be the best 6 months in your life guitar-wise, the Y2D and now this!

That is freaking sweet. I love that guitar already. That finish looks so good I actually want to take a bite out of it. All this from a bass player. I guess that means you guys done good.

I like it, the pickup surround shape is similar to the bongo pickup shape. What is the purpose of the 3 ply cap? Very interesting is it for strength, tone? Congrats to the team for designing something that has lasted 20 years.

If I'm honest, and I'm fully aware how little weight my opinion carries, I think it would look a lot nicer without the pickup rings. To my eyes, they clutter the otherwise clean lines of this guitar.

A five way selector switch would make it a lot more versatile soundwise, unless there are coil splits on the pots.

Just my 2 penneth.

I thought the same about the pickup surrounds, but I admire EB for doing different things and I'm starting to like them. Anyway NorM has the final say ;) :D

Wow! That looks nothing like what I had imagined. It's a real departure in many ways, but I love the result. Really cool ideas designed into this one.

Does the contour on the guitar top mean that someday we could see a Petrucci with a fancy top? ;)

Sweet...you can order the nickle covers from Dimarzio just make sure they fit the spacing of the poles (f spaced...not f spaced). If you're refering to the mounting rings...not that I can see fitting. One more not on the covers...they will not fit in a JP...the pup routes don't have enough space to fit the covers...without a shoe horn.

-What is it that makes you want to keep asking more questions?
-When is it that you are going to keep asking more questions?
-Where are you going to keep asking more questions?
-How can you keep asking more questions?
-Why is it that you keep asking more questions?

Obviously (I hope), I am teasing you all, but how about a breath, then a sigh of relief knowing that soon, you can let the instrument answer all the questions you will ever have?

Also, with regards to the pickups, they sound just like....DAMN! My keyboard just ran out of ink!! :D

Love the look but don't like the pickups in appearance. Are the covers removeable? If it could be had with the Luke's Wilkinson trem I'd order tomorrow. Can I get a different colour? Would love to see that in Pacific Blue Burst.
