Many of you may have realized by now that I have a thing for finding Stingrays that need some TLC, and bringing them back as close as possible to their original (and intended) glory.
When I bought this 20th Anniv. SR4 it has an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp and basslines pickup. Everything else was in great shape. I had a 'donor' Stingray with stock preamp and pickup. I sent the bass with the correct preamp to Jon at EB to complete a factory installation, and bring it back to stock (thanks again Jon!). There is a small cutout area in the control cavity from the OBP-1 module, but it's been painted with shielding paint, and isn't visible with the cover on (I can send a pic).
The bass is in overall very good condition, with just a few minor dings on and around the body. The top is flamed maple with a rosewood board. It comes with the correct blonde hardshell case.
My asking price is substantially less than what the last three have sold for on ebay ($2K and up). Please send me a PM or email if you're interested. I may also be interested in a fretted or fretless SR5 plus cash trade deal.
