20th Silho 80's Hard Rock?

Newbie here...I will be picking up a 20th Silho in the next few days got it used for a great price from a buddy.

Will the stock pickups be able to play 80's Rock? Van Halen,Whitesnake kind of stuff or will have too replace them?

Well that's been my findings since i bought my 20th a few weeks go... all i can say is hold on and welcome to the club!

I have a standard Silo, not a 20th, but they're the same pickups (DiMarzio Virtual PAFs), so +1 to all above, they're not exaggerating one bit. I would even venture to say the Silo was MADE for that. After all, wasn't it designed in the eighties?

80s Rock is absolutely great on that, especially things like Whitesnake (Sykes-Vanderbergh-Vai era).

Generally, I have yet to find any style of music known by man the 20th wouldn't do an exceptionally fine job in.

Metal, it wont do Metal cause its not a Metal guitar and you must have a Metal guitar in order to play Metal. Every Metal head knows this is the basic foundation of playing Metal. But for everything non-Metal it will do fine... just don't try to play Metal. Haha...
