Hey guys!

I have narrowed down my search to 3 guitars (all EBMM). One of these guitars is the 20th Anniversary Silhouette. When I played it something felt different. Is the 20th silo's body larger than a standard silo? Is there less of an arm contour on the 20th silo?

When I played a 20th, the only body contour difference I noticed was the missing cuts in the cutaways, the arm contour felt the same to me.

Another Torontonian! We're taking over :D

All I can say is, DUDE, IF YOU CAN GET A 20TH, GET IT! I'm not exaggerating. This guitar blows every other guitar I've played out of the water. Keep in mind I'm a picky SOB and I hate spending that kind of money, but it was totally worth it with this guitar.
There are so many tones....... The bridge is a bit rough, but I like it that way.......kind of p-90 meets humbucker.....loud & mean with some grit. If you don't like that, the tone knob smooths it out very well. The neck pickup is super smooth.
And don't forget, only 366 of these guitars were made.........think of it as an investment..definitely an instrument worthy of "passing on to ur kids" status.
BUY IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!

where the hell are your covers? the guitar looks nice like this :)

They're on the original pickups, of course! :D

I installed an Air Norton and a D-Sonic. I love it like this! The neck sings even more "sweetly" and the bridge, well, let me just say two words - more of everything! :)

Really? The bridge pickup on mine is kind of loud, dirty, & gritty, but I like it that way.
Does changing the pickups affect your warranty?

I have no idea about the warranty - and I don't care. I've owned EBMMs for well over a decade and never had a warranty issue. Considering the 20th (IMO) is the best made of the whole lot - I'm really not concerned at all. Besides, with EBMMs ridiculously stellar CS - well, I'm really really not worried about warranty issues at all! :D

As far as the bridge pickup - I wanted to try something with more output. Don't get me wrong - I love the original pickups - but it doesn't hurt to try something different - it's just pickups after all! An easy thing to "restore" if necessary.
