I have no idea about the warranty - and I don't care. I've owned EBMMs for well over a decade and never had a warranty issue. Considering the 20th (IMO) is the best made of the whole lot - I'm really not concerned at all. Besides, with EBMMs ridiculously stellar CS - well, I'm really really not worried about warranty issues at all! :D

As far as the bridge pickup - I wanted to try something with more output. Don't get me wrong - I love the original pickups - but it doesn't hurt to try something different - it's just pickups after all! An easy thing to "restore" if necessary.

Cool. The JP pickups do sound very good, IMO. Perhaps one of these days you can post a soundclip of how they sound in the 20th.

It honestly is a phenomenal guitar. I have my strung with Power Slinkys and Tuned to D it sounds so freaking good. It is by far the best playing guitar I have ever owned. I really wished I could have kept both of my 20th's but what can you do.

WOW you narrowed it down, but the 20th is King of the Hill, I will never stop singing the praises of this axe, you will not be disappointed, your hardest issue will be finding one, by far the best guitar I have ever played or will play, I hope you decide on one and CAN FIND ONE:D,

A couple of pics of mine fully loded of course thanks to Pete:)

WOW Sarah you scored another, how great is that, too cool:cool:

yeah! :D I knew I wasn't likely to get a chance at one of these again. It feels like every time I pick it up I find a great new tone.

But you got the piezo + trem on one 20th... ;) Does it get any cooler than that?

I went out and played a 20th Silo today. I have concluded that the guitar is not for me. The neck is a little too round and thick for my liking. However, the standard Silhouette is good and JP6 is amazing!! I am looking for a fixed bridge so I guess I would have to block that trem :D

The 20th has more character than any dual humbucker guitar I've ever had. The middle pickup position is one of the best tones I've ever heard.

Well to each there own, not sure why you think a regular silo is different as far as neck, and yes a JP rocks, but to fix the bridge on a JP is taking away part of what makes it rock, may I suggest an AL or ASS then hardtail maybe to your liking for what you want:)
