I hope you guys didnt think from the title that I HAVE one and have pics for you addicts :D :p .
So I could not resist anymore and ordered the 20th Silo today which I am extremely excited about. This means I have an incredibly long wait for this one unlike my other 2. I decided to get it because I have always wanted a guitar with this set up even before it actually came out in the Ball arsenall.
However I may have to sell the LUKE at some point before the 20th arrives to fund it and also space wise. I cant really afford to have 3 right now, and I should have initially gotten the 20th since it is limited and the Luke is not. I LOVE the Luke, but I am more of a humbucker guy, so the Luke is mostly for versatility in recordings maybe and such so I will keep my regular Silo. Anybody who is interested in the Luke now, PM me, but I am not starting a FS thread just yet.
Me very happy about this :D!!!

Congrats on the order!
The thought of the 20th won't leave me alone even though I'm pretty set on the H-S-H configuration.
That's going to be a long 5 months my friend!

You can't sell the Luke until you post the CBP vid! :p ;)

Damn it!!!

You just beat me. I called Pete to order one and he's out for a few hours (time difference). Congratulations! I'm sure it will be every bit of guitar that we hope it to be.
I, myself, sold my Schecter USA Koa custom and a Carvin DC127 a few months ago with the intention of ordering/purchasing a new guitar right away. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to as my parents asked me for a small loan (hey, that's what family is for), and my wife and friends went on a spur of the moment trip to Vegas to see Madonna (that was her birthday present). Now, I'm going to sell my Presonus Firepod (which I've hardly used), and my Takamine EF341C acoustic to help with the purchase. It will be worth it, though.
Ultimately, after bouncing back and forth from this guitar and that guitar, I think the 20th Silo is the way to go; getting an EBMM was a definite, though. I recently won/purchased a EBMM distributor banner on ebay, so now I can show off my guitar with the banner (when I bet the guitar, that is).
Congrats again. BTW, what options did you get if you don't mind me asking?

I dont mind you guys asking anything, hahahha. MY options were Rosewood (I cant live without it), NON matching headstock, tremolo, and upgrade FLAME top. I really got into the flame since I saw a video of Guthrie Govan playing some guitar that was flamed to death. And this will be my first decisionon the natural headstock. For some reason the natural head seems to fit this particular set up with the flamed top and the caramel color and also with all the "guaranteed" birdseye figuring, MUAHAHAHA!!!!

If I end up doing the 20th, I'd get the same combo but a quilt top. :)

List price starts at $2500 USD. A "fully loaded" 20th Anniversary Silhouette lists at $3500 USD. This includes premium top, piezo, tremolo, and matching headstock.

No idea what that would be in CDN.

LISTS SHMISTS!!! Who pays lists??? :p

I guess, depending on who you're buying from, you could pick that up for under
$3000 CDN.

I would love the premium top quilt, non pieo, non matching (with floyd!). Chances of finding one out here are about the same as me not sweating in this 45 degree cel. heat every day.

cheers,

Jonny

BlackZ, how do you know they "suck"? Have you played this guitar? Well look wise it's a bit different, but I dont think it's obtrussive or anything.

good lookin baby, but these pickup-mounting-rings suck.

Do you mean that because you played it and found it to be a problem or are you basing that on what you see.....curious is all.

I like the 20th Silo.....certainly a beautiful axe.
