Just go for it Pete and like you said if you do not mesh with the new tone change back. Rob went through the same thing some months back except he put up his stock pups for sale, it took me a bit of persuading him not to sell them as on a model like this that was very limited the odds of ever finding an original pair would just about be nill, besides killing the value of the guitar. He agreed with me in holding on to the stock pups but shocked me that after a very short time he had them back in, and was crazy for the tone he was getting.

Pete already told me how he loves the new tones from the 20th which I suspected...especially with the AT1 in the bridge.

Mike that was good advice I'm glad I took since I have it up for sale. I would have never thought I would do that and I went MANY times back and forth trying to decide what to do. However I just realized that I prefer the tone of the neck pickup placement on 22 fret guitars as well as the feel. But the stock pickups definitely sound really good in this specific guitar.

I've went back and forth with pickups in my 20th but settle on Motorcity angel dust. Great sounding pups. Keeping the stock ones around tho.
