I find it comforting that everyone has respect for Señor Dubaldo. Especially considering I want an '07 LE Sterling HS maple matching headstock and a 20th anniversary SR5 HS maple (matching headstock? still up for grabs) and Casa DuBaldo is roughly a 10 minute drive from my house. :D

That has to make your wife happy. :D

I'd say that his price is not at all out of line.

PM Pete Dubaldo for a US quote and you'll see that your dealer is not wacko.

I talked to james from the perfect bass for the price he's selling. It's cheaper than what i thought it was...

Hi Ashiin, mentionning street prices on the board is not permitted by the rules, if I remember correctly, so maybe you'd better edit your previous post.

But the price given to you by The Perfect Bass seems unbelievebly low for a 20th SR5. My feeling tells me that that price is one for a 'normal' SR5 or maybe a 30th SR4, not the 20th SR5. Maybe you should contact James again to make sure about that... If it IS correct though, than DAMN, I should've imported in stead off ordering here :p

I konw these basses don't come cheap, but you just know they're gonna be worth it. And I imagine they'll hold their value very well, if you'd ever want to re-sell them.

Not really, but what I want and what I get are usually two different things. :p

Still, I've put my SUB5 into my practice pack so I'll have to practice with it. This way I'll have some time to see if I really want to go down the 5 string road. If so, I'm definitely snagging an SR5 anniversary model. The '07 LE Sterling HS is just a pipe dream more than anything else.
