24, 24, 24 all the way lol! Seriously though, i find 24 frets alot more comfortable.

It could just be me, but a guitar is a guitar no matter how many frets it has (or hasn't). When I play my strat with 21 frets, I never miss the other one or 3. It's the same with trems, if I play a les paul or type, I don't reach for it, but if I have my PRS or MMEVH then I'll merrily wang away(if you'll pardon the expression). Number of frets etc. would not be a deal breaker if I was looking for a new axe and I personally enjoy playing on different types of guitars as I play slightly differently if a guitar has an extra feature eg. piezo or is lacking a feature eg, has 21 frets or fixed bridge. :)

I bet our special friend Ed Roman has another opinion of this issue.

Oh wait, he does. :) (I still wonder he didn't write about "how to drop a log without getting itchy hemorrhoids" yet)

As for me, I just love the sound of a neck sc placed underneath the "virtual" 24th fret.

LOL :D This guy is hilarious

I remember when I've first saw his website I saw his OLP modifications. The Ed Roman OLP $649.00 Kit is a better sounding and playing guitar than the original Ernie Ball Axis !!! Wow, I've overpayed

Ed is the biggest JERK in the guitar industry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe any guitar company or buyer would want to deal with him.

I called him regarding some Trans-trem parts years ago ... he hung up on me, because I asked about some prices. He basically told me mostly rock stars can afford to buy Steinberger parts and I should look elsewhere if I'm concerned about price. WTF?

I've never dealt with Ed before, but l've heard nothing but bad things about him, so l'm not gonna put too much weight into what he says.

Scott.
