Man I love this bass! Thanks BP and company! I only have one tiny complaint, and it's really not a complaint, just a lack of intelligence on my part.
I really wish that the bass came with a pamphlet, guide, book or something that would better explain all the pickup and control options. As it is I'm just pushing buttons and listening to the awesome differences. I just don't know when I have which pup on or off for sure. And don't worry BP, I not one to dime controls!!! I tweak, a little at a time. This is an amazing instrument, but with all these electronics an old man like me needs a guide to understand what I am doing. Once I hit on a configuration or two maybe three, I'll be set. I have never been one to have a set list of tones that I use! I only play finger style so that limits the need for a lot of switching around. A guide would be good though :)

I believe there is a PDF linked on the information page for the bass on the Music-man.com website under instruments.

I don't know if that is what you were asking or more of a description of the sounds and tones.

Ed Friedlands video review is also very good and he uses an HH.

You have 2 pick up selector switches, one for active / passive and another for series / parallel therefore the above charts will show that you have about 16 different sounds from your bass

4 different positions in active/series mode
4 different positions in active/parallel mode
4 different positions in passive/series mode
4 different positions in passive/parallel mode
