Hi guys
A question for the 25th anniversary bass owners.
I have had my 25th anniversary for a while now.
I have been looking in google and noticed that most of the pics show a string tree, is this normal.
My 4HH 25th anniversary hasn't got one and doesn't show any signs of ever having one. No holes or marks.
Just wondering why this might be, and if they do or do not normally have them.
Thanks for your help.
Martin

I have a 25th anniversary model but I have no idea what a string tree is.

Thanks for the reply, the string tree is the little metal bar that holds the strings between the nut and the tuners, attached to the headstock .
Thanks
Martin

I see. Mine has it. I looked on the Music-Man website and the 4-stringers have it.
Maybe jlepre has it correct about the early models.
A call to EBMM customer service on Monday will get your answer if nobody comes up with it before then.

I had a 5HH which was one if the first ones shipped to basscentral and it had a string tree. Check my albums in my profile. The mystery continues. JOSH
