I like this one so far. I think the definition of national landmark might be a little up for grabs, but if you can make a good argument for it and no one complains to loudly then it will wash.

We could put up a track with drums and bass, and let people record a guitar solo over it. The most creative solo wins. To avoid it becoming a shred contest we could limit it to "nothing faster than eights". I'm up for making a track, something simple, like a blues progression.
