Just in and in a word "Smokin" ! A quick post and pics.
Passive tone is great, really strong, great boost with the bridge pup solo, the singles while the same as a Bongo, are unique and sound incredible.
Active tone is also outstanding and unique, so while sharing neck width and a 4 band pre amp both basses are unique tonally. Definitely another MM milestone, home run derby kings of the bass biz, I say. I find the controls intuitive and require no time to get use to. One minor niggle is mine came in at 10.5 lbs, I was really looking forward to under ten as they were shooting for 9ish.
