So i am pretty interested in a 25th. Thinking i will go with the Single H like the rest of my basses. Curious as to what you guys think about getting one this year with the nice top and red finish... or holding off till next and getting a standard color (i am pretty sure i read it will be a standard production model next year). The only reason i ask this question is i have a red 30th Stingray and usually try to not repeat a color.

25th Anniversaries will be a once in a lifetime bass, that is a major consideration. That Venetian Red is an amazing color, especially with those tops!!!

If I can not get a 25th then I would love to get a 25th (*insert production name here *) in Cabernet Pearl!!!

Not sure that I helped any with your plight

see if this helps, +1 on the 25th over production, the maple top , tone block and no pickguard plus possibly having a different pre amp in the production model makes the 25th have the edge imho

+1, my thoughts too, which is causing me a lot of mental (and potentially financial) grief at the moment... :D
