I got a buddy who is very interested in getting a 25th. But he wants to know how the 25th will be different from the forthcoming Reflex, to make sure his 25th purchase is a good investment.

I'd say the major difference will be the color. as far as I know the 25th's paint job is for the 25th. so if your buddy doesnt get a 25th he should be able to get a reflex w/ chambered body, tone block, maple top, same pups & electronics etc. same axe - diff color scheme

hmm, what else.... sorry, that's all i can say ;)

I'm gonna be so friggin poor in 2010. 10th Anniversary JP, Reflex, whatever other cool stuff they release.

If they release the Reflex with a piezo I'll probably buy 2.

If the difference is only a change in the color scheme, it will not make the 25th unique. I am just taking reference from how ebmm did with the 20th and the DD1. See, there is no production model for the 20th, making the 300odd pieces a real collection piece. Similarly, what makes me chase after a DD1 would be the amazing Martini inlays.

There must be something to differentiate the 25th and its production counterpart to make it a unique anniversary piece. By doing this, those remainings 25th will also roll off the shelve.
