In case you hadn't notice, Rod Trussbroken (Gav) maintains a very interesting website with some historical info on MusicMan basses and on that website he holds a database with serial numbers and descriptions (provided that people post these to him of course) and recently both the 25th Anniversary and the Big Al have been added on this link:

I will religiously submit all the SNs and descriptions of my basses from now on...I think I have 2 or 3 on there now that I have submitted!

What is the pick guard on his big AL? It looks really really cool.
It seems that rosewood looks better than maple on 25th's to match up with the venetian red.
