It is kinda hard for me to imagine a MM bass without that big humbucker sitting near the bridge. Then again you can't let tradition hold you back from progress. Will be very interested in hearing what these sound like. JOSH

It's pretty hard to imagine ANY MusicMan bass without the big humbucker at the bridge position, though.

Quite a departure!

Maybe in this config, the bridge pup is still an H ... but a stacked H. Is that the case BP? Are any/all of the 3 pickups stacked humbuckers? Triple H!

3 String?

Is that a string through design? 3 string bass?? I like it!!!

Surely not, that would be 3 screws to hold the bridge in place, I assume?

I love the idea of a 3 pickup bass. This could be truly revolutionary. Then again, what else would we expect from EBMM?

(I can't say I'm enthused about the body shape as it stands, but then again, I don't own a Bongo....)

Let's hope it's better than the last 3 pickup bass .....

Dudley just cut this poplar piece yesterday. We also plan to do Alder and Ash bodies. The final body shape probably won't be based on the Albert Lee, but we just thought it would be a cool bass. Poppa, Dudley, and I will all trickle in more ideas and thoughts....

I give up! I'm done!

yes a Bongo 6 still has to find it's way into my home but dangitall... this is quite possibly (regardless of the final body shape) one of the most exciting basses to have come along well.... since the Bongo!!!

a 3 single-coil MM..... beyond cool, beyond anything!! AND Poplar!!!! sweeeet.
