I agree with Psycho Ward. 300 miles was nothing back in the day. 4 guys crammed into a 69 chevy pulling a u-haul.... well you all know the rest of the story. Anyways glad you got to jam with your buddies!

I actually flew from L.A. to mow my yard in Chapel Hill, NC, then back to the tour the next day. I was a road dog, 6 months out at a time was normal for me, for several years. Now if I have to drive across town I whine about it. :D

Get the booking agent to find another gig on the way or a little further on, and make it an overnighter. Love those Friday/Saturday night road trips!

Friday night (150 miles down the road):

Saturday night (a further 100 miles down the road from the first place):

lol....I didn't notice that, Mark. It matches your drummers shirt, or the singers hair thingy.

Yup good old Ireland,I was going to take the bus but it only comes every other wednesday!!! 300 miles in ireland take 6/7 hours.
I used to tour Europe with the band and we really have the worst roads this side of the pond!

Cruise control......i would like a "miss the pot holes " control.

However as always I would do it again any day.Its is a few years since I sold my last sr4(what a mistake it was).I just had a huge smile with the sr5,guess i just missed the Musicman sound.
