Hey all. I just got married and my wife bought me the 30th anniversary stingray for a wedding present. I played it during the reception with the band and I love it. Does anyone know how many of these they are making? Thanks alot

There's no set limit, it just depends how many orders they get before the window closes (which may already have happened). They're going to stop production at the end of the year.

Hey there Jim, welcome to the forum! That's really cool how your wife bought you a 30th for your wedding present AND you got to play it at your wedding. Great story! I've been promised an engagement/wedding bass, but I'd better not wait for the next Anniversary Stingray or there will be trouble!

;)

Everything turned out fine except when I went up to play the videographer taped it but forgot to record it. Not that I was perfect anyway. I played Mustang Sally but lost the beat halfway through. It was the first time playing live in about 12 years, and the 1st time meeting this band so I guess I can't complain too much. But it does suck that I have no audio. My wife was up there singer also. Oh well, I've got a great Bass to practice with and get better.

That might not be such a problem. The 20th anniversary Stingray 5 should be coming out next year. ;)
