Here is a prototype SR4 in Trans Red finish, with buttercream dots/nut, 5 ply black/cream pg, unchambered. It weighs 10 lbs. This model is not a String Thru.

About this "unchambered" business....I haven't brought it up because I wasn't sure it was set in stone, but will the production models have the chambers? Will the target weight be around 8.5 lbs?

Even at ten pounds, that's not bad at all.

And what a sweet looking bass! I bet we sell some of those.
