The body is mahogany.

If I remember correctly (Dargin! Help!), the neck is stained birdseye maple.

Absolutely stunning! Chambered or not, that's a beautiful bass. I'd imagine the tone is awesome as well. Any thoughts on how this sounds compared to an ash bodied 'Ray? "It sounds like a mahogony bodied Stingray" isn't an acceptable answer, BTW.
