Question 35" scale 5-string basses

I'm looking for EB strings that will work for a 35" 5-string bass...it doesn't appear that xtra long scale strings are available in the 5-string sets. Can someone tell me if the regular slinky's work (are they long enough - does the taper on the string start below the nut?).

We just introduced the Super Long Scale 5 string sets at the Winter Namm show one week ago. The first Taper is about 38 1/4" long and the total length is 51 1/2". Part #2850 and available from any EB dealer or on our shop a tron site.

How about coated 5-strings on a 35" scale bass, top loaded?

Unfortunately, we don't offer those at the moment. We just released the extra long scale strings this year.
