I know I am kind of a noob around here, so please pardon my ingorance....I think it is great that the people who make and sell and work in CS post here and maybe I could ask a question of them...

I was reading something written by the CEO of another bass company, and he was saying the 5-string bass was just a blip on the radar of their sales numbers....so much so that they don't even offer a 5 anymore, and won't since the percentage of 5 players is so small.

I was wondering, could anyone from EBMM disclose percentages of 4 string sales vs 5 string sales? I'm wondering just how many 5 string lovers there are out there, or am I seeing the world thru 5-string glasses?

I know EBMM is strong in the 5 string world but also sell a lot of 4's...so I was hoping...maybe?

i dont think, ebmm discloses sales record,
but im guessing "in radar" terms, both 4 and 5 string sales are like giant UFOs, not just a blip

I'm not looking for sales numbers, just wondering what percent are 4's and what percent are 5's. I know a lot of info is classified or not wanted to be posted here, and that's cool.

100 percent of what I buy is 5 or more strings. :D The common factor is they all say EBMM on them.

I'm the same way, save for my 12 string bass, mine are all fivers. Just wanted to get a gauge on the rest of the world, not just my world.
