Awesome sight, Pete! We talked about me snagging one of them at the bash. I then remebered that the Y2D only has 22 frets, which kinda bummed me out, 'cause I'm a 24 fret man, but after seeing this awesome Purple Sunset finish I think I'm changing my mind again.

! Congradulations people! Hey Pete, are the any coming in De-Purple?? I would like to see an image of like 4 of them in that color. I kinda like that color a bit more, but STILL the Purple Sunset is REALLY beautiful. It actually looks like the sunset i saw today from work, and it was in NYC believe it or not. Maybe it was a sign before I saw this image of yours .

Yeah, I've got 4 coming in De-Purple Burst, but I don't think they will be arriving all at the same time like these did I've got 2 more coming in Purple Sunset - one is in the good hands of UPS right now and the other is in Final Setup (attn: Tommy)

Wait till you see the photoshoot of that badboy I post tomorrow! I just wailed on it for about an hour or so up at the recording studio in a jam session - UNREAL, the articulation of the pickups, the feel, it's all incredible!

OK...now I have to post. BTW, I just picked myself up off the floor at the beautiful site of those Y2D's......MY GOD those are gorgeous.
First off, Pete, you are the man. The bash you are throwing is really cool of you to do. Sorry, I will not be able to make it. For those that do, please take many pics and post them.
Foggy, the offer is there my man. So what if it costs about the same in travel. You not only get an awesome SUB, you get to hang out with the fellas at Pete's. I had the honor of meeting many of those cats at the Open House. Believe me, the trip alone would be worth it. Plus, you get a real EBMM and can officially be recognized as "One of Us"....hehehehehe.....
All those getting the Y2D, congrats. I played one at the Open House and that axe is just a superior instrument in every detail.
With the Y2D, the new LE coming out, I have so many choices for my next purchase, my head is spinning. I do believe a bass is next on the list and now I will have to decide.........but, then again, those Y2D's are simply awesome!

The offer really puts him out there! I don't even know if I could accept such a gracious offer! I am deeply honoured. I was on mapquest trying to calculate the distance, costs, etc.... and doesn't seem like something I could do that close to Christmas! But you never know what could happen!!!

Hey Pete,
When you get a chance do me a favor and look at the single coils on those guitars. Are they sitting flush with the bridge pu or do they sit a little lower on the high E side?
Mine is tilted lower on the high E side and I wanted to see if that's the way they're leaving the factory before I start adjusting things...

Drive to Detroit. Expedia has direct flights on NW for CAD$331 to Hartford leaving 17th, returning 18th. (I'm sure you could beat that with a US budget airline.)
I'm staying over that night. You can crash in my hotel room for whatever the additional cost is ($10 or whatever).
Total cost- cheap airfare plus a few bucks. Certainly less than the cost of a new sub, and the comradery will be pricess.
Now's the time to step up and do it my friend!
