I hit my 5,000th post in the Help a Knucklehead Thread. That was a great place to hit the landmark and for a great cause.

Just want to put out a few things about my time here lately.

1. Just over 2 years ago I was going through a very nasty divorce. When aren't they? I almost made some bad decisions and with some Intervention by Big Poppa and Beth....things turned out much better for the Koogster. I love you guys!!

2. Met a new girl and just got married to her this past Monday. Been with her during the divorce and she has been my best friend throughout the whole ordeal. I am a lucky guy to have her and I appreciate all that she does for me.

3. Got a new job that keeps me home with occasional trip to California. Beats Iraq and Afghanistan anyday!! I love it and it keeps my mind occupied.

4. Band. Still going and still having fun. Yes, still wearing the war

5. EBMM has really come up with some great new tools for us to enjoy. Too many to list. I just can't seem to decide on what I want at this point...which is funny...but not too funny. I can't afford them all....lol.

6. The kindness shown on this very forum was nothing short of spectacular. Congrats to you all. This is not just some music forum...this is really a family forum. I have had the pleasure of meeting a bunch of you Knucks and I am a better person for it.

7. Keep playing and have a great time here. I know I will for many more years.

Congrats Koogs..

I know what you mean

I never thought when i signed up here over 7 years ago and ordered my first SR5.. that i wish i still had, the people here would band together and do something so amazing for me.

I know this is not the first time something like this has happened here.

I'm putting a post together to thank everyone properly but u thought i would comment on how wonderful this place is..

congrats Koogs! You really are one of the backbones of this forum. You're always there with a kind word or a nasty one when it's appropriate. Keep being you and I hope to meet you one day.

Awhile back I saw a photo of some guy in a monster suit wearing a Bongo. Was that you? If so, can you post another photo?

Awesome suit, by the way, but it looks like it's hot inside. And congrats on the marriage!

Yeah John...that would be me...lol. It definitely does get hot....I basically took my hockey pads, put some sheet metal over it and put the spikes on it. Still...always fun. Pic for you.

Will have the "wedding" pics up sometime soon. Nothing special. We did the JOP this go around with the big wedding in February. We did this cause my girl's mom was up from Panama and might not be able to make it in February. So, we wanted her there and this was the best way.

Thanks to all you Knucks....love you all.
