"Hey Knuckleheads!!!

This is not Glenn's post. He is doing me a huge favour by posting this for me. I have a new acquisition that I wish to share with my favourite online family! The deal is that I am currently in the middle of what could be a very nasty divorce situation and I do not want my soon to be Ex to know about this purchase. She'll undoubtedly cause a huge problem for me if she knew, not to mention the issues and legalities of money and such. Anyways, I'm doing great! So enough about this issue here. It's not the time nor place for it.

Who am I you ask? Let's just say I have a whole LOT of Music Man pictures that I love sharing with the forum! It is important to know, that and I will not personally respond in this thread and I ask that you NOT to mention my name in this thread as my Ex could be trolling these forums for info.

Now down to business!!!! I've had a couple days to play around with this guitar and I must say this is an awesome beast!!!! My first impression upon receiving my FedEx box was that the entire package was uber light and further confirm when first holding the guitar. Unplugged, you can feel that tone block working it's magic. EBMMs are always super resonant and yes, sustain for days; however the 25th takes the cake!!! The neck is great!!!! It's similar to the Silhouette, yes but wider as mentioned in many other reviews. It's a welcomed spacing. Now the tonal arsenal is just great! Now I don't have any experience with the Axis first hand, but my ears tell me it's all there plus some! The new pickup options give out some very interesting sounds. I leave describing them to your own ears. The best description I could give when playing the cleans is that I would say they sound a little like an Ovation acoustic.

Once again, pic never do these guitars justice. I did my best, but in the end you just have to see these in person. They're just beautiful. Anyways, enough rambling. This guitar is a work of art and I feel so fortunate to get one of these!!! Thanks to all who created this baby!! This could quite easily become my new No.1.

Congratulations Mr. X that's a beautiful 25th.

Now all you need is a Mr. Horsepower in between to set up the ultimate Music Man Limited Edition traffic light collection :)

Just a question, but wouldn't having it sitting next to a rather limited edition silo kinda give this away to the wife?

I wondered the same thing, but I don't think you can search for a particular image of a particular guitar unless it's somehow named in the title of the thread or in the body of a message.

Congratulations to you international man/woman of mystery! :p
What a fine specimen, I think it's my favorite neck profile of all the EBMM's.

Wow, I'm very sorry to hear about the situation. But that is a beautiful 25th.

Hope things work out as best they can. Feel free to buzz me anytime, Mr X.
