Is a security guard pounding on your door because you live on the third floor and a pipe broke in your bathroom while your family is asleep flooding the 2 apartments below you... Nice huh? Putting an action plan togetHer as to how what to do about getting it fixed, where to take our daughter while it's being fixed, etc. Now it's about time to get ready for day 2 of bass player live. If you are local, come see me looking like a sleepless zombie!

Oh man! Sorry to hear that! I once worked for a cable contractor. One of our guys burst a HIGH PRESSURE sprinkler pipe in the attic. It was a hell-acious scene let me tell you.

Make sure they try to dry everything up really well and replace any drywall. You don't want mold!

Wow, sorry to hear about this. At least it was not your stuff that got soaked! Hope you can get some rest after the excitement today.

I was hoping you'd be saying "6:20 a.m. Best way of waking up.... is the UPS pounding on your door to deliver a box full of bass."

I lived in Houston during that big flood in 2001. Most of my musical gear was downtown so it was high enough not to flood, but my parent's house had 4 feet of water. Lost all my childhood photo albums and my parent's wedding album along with nearly eerythin else there. It was like my childhood was washed away. My parents moved and our old house still has all the sheet rock cut off at 4 feet up and if you go in for 5 minutes you feel asthmatic from the mold. So comparitively, this was nominal... Just not exactly how I was looking forward to waking up!
