6.7 lb SR4??

I just saw the photo of Musicman Nut's 2001 Gunsmoke Silver SR4 w/matching headstock & string through body in the rare basses gallery (about half-way down). Says these were a limited run of 200 made for sale in Japan. The caption also says the weight of the pictured bass is 6.7 pounds!! What were those bodies made of, poplar? Musicman Nut, did/does that bass have a significantly different sound?

I also like that Sherwood Green SR5 right above it. Cool color.

There are some sweet looking basses there. Love the fretless maple necked one - beautiful. Also love the Kid Rock 'camouflage' bass.

I wouldn't think a Stingray could weigh that little. 8 maybe, but 6.7?
