This is what's on my board right now, in order:

1. Boss TU2 Tuner
2. Crybaby 535Q wah
3. Boss DC-2 Dimension C
4. Boss DD-20 delay
5. Line 6 Verbzilla

The footswitch for my Bogner handles channel switching and lead boosts. I also have a Digitech Bad Monkey I'll throw in there occasionally if I need to give mt Strat some punch.

I'd like to get one "weird" pedal like a Digitech Whammy for strange noises and such.

This is my setup:

1.Tuner
2.Crybaby 535q wah
3.Damage Control Solid Metal
4.Boss RE-20 Space Echo

That's it! I would add a Fulltone Choralflange if I had the money for one. Oh and a footswitch for the FAT switch on the amp, that makes it 6.

Digitech RP250 effects pedal
Hooked up through USB during rehersals to put all the sounds in order (I have more open slots than I'll ever use) to the laptop.
It has a built in pedal that I set to volume.

That's it.

I have a lot of effects that I plug in from time to time, but I always end up unhappy with the way they effect the sound, even the best buffer or the best bypass in the world still steal a lot of the guitar's punch to my ears and I always end up happier going straigh to the amp. The loop I find more forgiving and I do like a delay in there, but that's about it. I love the sounds i get out of my wah, and my phaser and my flanger and my whammy pedal, but I'm not willing to live with the negative impact on the bypassed sound.

The last version of my board went something like:
- Vox Wah
- Analog Man TS-9/808 Silver Mod
- Keeley DS-1 SEM
- Analog Man Chorus
- Red Witch Deluxe Moon Phaser
- Voodoo Lab Tremolo

That was in front of my Marshall DSL50 and Black Cat 30 amps. Now that I'm going DI (no more amps), it's more like this:
- Tech21 Liverpool DI pedal
- Tech21 British DI pedal
- Fulldrive 2
- Keeley Compressor
- Analog Man Chorus
Oh and a Mackie 8-ch mixer with a Boss RV3 in the loop.

I have to tell you, I had one (Choralflange) and hated it. Couldn't get a good sound out of it whatsoever. I just bought a Digitech Hardwire Chorus however and it is everything I have ever hoped for in a Chorus, very clean, quiet and versatile. Of course that is my 2 cents, YMMV...

I'm looking at this as a possibility.

Tuner - Korg Pitchblack
Wah - Ernie Ball Wah
Distortion - Delta Labs Rock distortion
Delay - ????
Chorus - ???????
phase shifter - MXR EVH Phase 90
tremolo - ?????

The distortion wah, and phaser are the three big effects that I use the most, so those are set. (though I've just ordered the distortion pedal - never tried it before). I haven't ever really grasped what the difference was between reverb and chorus effects. Also knowing that they all work on some form of delay, I wondered if getting a delay and a chorus was overkill. Time to do a little research.

The tremolo idea was just for one of those cool sound effects, a la "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" intro. Not guaranteed to even get one.

Nova system is similar in size to the G system isn't it? No more spill over :(

the nova is smaller and it still has spillover. the effects blocks are just the same as in the g-system ... just without the control options over inbuilt loops and amp switching nor built in power for pedals.

The Hotwire is a Tube amp. It is just listed under "solid state amps" on the website.

Well, I only have 3 pedals and I rarely use them, so that's easy enough for me.

EB Volume Jr.
Boss DD-20
CryBaby 535Q

I need a boost, though. So many options :S

I've gassed over pedals for the last few months, and have gone through more than I care to remember, so I can say with some authority which ones would be on mine.

1. Analogman KoT
2. Lovepedal Eternity
3. Skreddy Pink Flesh
4. Red Witch Chorus
5. T-Rex Replica or some Analog Delay
6. Keeley Compressor

I've been toying with the idea of trying a multi-amp setup, so I just built myself an A/B box that also works as a piezo splitter if I plug in a stereo cable from my JP. It does effect the tone (like any pedal IMO), but it packs a decent amount of utility for a tiny, passive box. Now I just need to get my clean amp working (because I stupidly blew a transformer :( ) and this new box could be a must have for me from now on.

My JP takes pedals much better than my Silo Special anyway (I think because the bridge HB is really strong and bright, and the neck HB sounds good with a little treble bleed off anyway).
