Myung is the main (only?) endorser for the 6 string Bongo, but yeah, it isn't a signature.
You should start saving up now, and then once you see one in shop, buy it
I was also wondering about fretless. Not so much if it will be available, but if Myung got a fretless version (For songs like 'Through her Eyes')

I saw DT last night in Baltimore and they were killer, beyond my imagination. Myung played 6's, both the Black and the Silver ones. He had 4 silver and 1 black in the rack that I saw and I believe he played everyone of them.. The sound was killer. He seemed to switch between the silver ones on the different songs. I don't know why, but I guess he had each one dialed in differently, or the preamps where tweaked differently. The Bongo 6 looks and sounds awesome. Sign me up !

and having someone hand them to you when you want it is not bad either I tell you that neck looked like it was 6' long and 6" wide. Beautiful, great job guys, it really is awesome

In all likelihood, if the strings are fairly new, he might be knocking them out of tune under hot stage lights. After a song, or two, he could need them tuned up.

It appeared he favored the HS config, as thats all I saw him playing. He definitely switched from 1 silver HS to another a few times, that silver stands out nice against his usual black attire. It may have been a tuning issue, but thats normal. I think he didn't want the other basses to get jealous IT seemed like he had 20 fingers at some points, JM is just incredible. Anybody who has the chance should go. JP was out of this world as well and his guitars just sang unbelievable. They were doing EBMM proud

Panic attack has an alternate tuning.
Honestly that's the only one off the top of my head that I can think of. I don't know the tunings on anything off of Systematic Chaos though.
The guitars have a lot of alternate tunings. But Myung can cover most of the songs in standard tuning.

"In the Name of God" is in C,but how JM tunes for that one I'm not sure. "As I Am" uses a raised C tuning where the top B sting is tuned to C,everything else is standard. So,it's probably something along those lines. BTW,what are the neck dimensions on the Bongo 6?
Looking at the Bongo 5 it has a 34" scale. For sure the B string on EBMM sound good then it will be a 34" also on B6. It will be hard a downtune!!!
I suppose (and hope) it will have a narrow strings distance.
On 24th fret, if i'm not wrong it will be about 3".937 .

The string spacing on the Bongo6 is the same as it is on the Bongo5 and StingRay5. The width of the neck at the heel is 3.5".
Also- JM's bass switching could be due to the fact that some of the basses he has are made out of different body and neck woods and he felt that some of the basses worked better for different songs.
