8 String Sub/OLP?

I can remember seeing an OLP or Sub Stingray converted into and 8 string bass, however Ive trawled the forum and the internet but to no avail. Can anyone provide a link or pictures of the home made conversion?

I remember seeing that on The Encyclopedia of the 12-String Bass a while back. If I remember correctly it was an OLP 5 string converted to an 8 string. Wait till the website is back up and take a look for it. JOSH
