$30 or $40?

Either stolen or someone really hit some very bad luck in a very big hurry. :(

If the neck is just back bowed and not actually twisted, it can be fixed by a good luthier. If it's sent back to music man they may even replace it (you would pay for the new one of course but...).

Unfortunately, after closer inspection, its twisted. I have an excellent local shop I'm thinking about bringing it to for a full restore. I wonder if I'd be better off sending it to EB though.

Congratulations, quite the lucky day you had there =D

Are those real Arcades in your kitchen..? =O

Yes. I have a total of 16 in the house (dining room is an arcade). All commercial machines. There's about 10 more in the garage in various states of repair.

I would think they'd do the best job if it's fixable and if not, maybe a neck swap?

Years ago I got my AL from GC it was NOS (New/Old Stock), it had a lot of wear. I bought it and sent it back to EBMM for various issues. They did an absolutely awesome job.

I'd probably go with the new neck from EBMM. It's not cheap, but even with that expense, I think you still got a good deal.

Definitely this. I would do a thorough search through a bunch of typical forums/websites and see if anything comes up. Way too suspiciously cheap.
