I just got an axis. It has 9's. I would like to put 10's on it. Other than physically changing the strings, what if any adjustments would I need to do?

you might have to tighten the truss rod and/or the tremolo springs to account for the extra tension from the strings. You will want the floyd (assuming this is a true Axis) to remain flat or it might float on you.

You probably will also need to re-intonate

Oh yea its a real deal axis(thanks Larry). Just lookin for advice, i haven't tinkered with this type of trem before. Even with the 9's on it, it sounds quite huge. Cant wait to throw some 10s on and see how its sounds!

look in youtube for examples of how to intonate a Floyd rose equipped guitar

this one is good since it recommends bringing the bridge flush which is the way the Axis is setup by default (i.e. no floating)
