Sounds very west cost, somewhere between Bruce Hornsby and Christopher Cross, I like it :)

Glad your wife is getting better

Nice one for a Sunday morning Tim, the 25th is bringing out a different vibe in you! I love the fact it can go from nice woody tones to full-on bite at the flick of a switch. Have you tried the Blues Saraceno trick of turning the tone right down in parallel mode to give an almost cocked-wah tone? It really does work. I still find myself drawn to the parallel tones whenever I play my 25th.

I thank you for listening and commenting . What's your next purchase going to be?

No new guitar for a while, unless I trade them. Kids (twins) at university and business school, so have to slow down for a while :)

That being said adding a new guitar would be pure luxury

Yes! I totally dug that TShiznit. You are finding some great voicings on that 25th. The ending was exceptionally executed.

I know you use the cube at home, what do you use live, same thing?

Thanks Mario, it's always a pleasure to read your encouraging feedback. Anyway, yes I do also use the cube live....It is just so light, and built like a tank...and the sound is ok too........for the music I play......70, 80, 90, covers...oldies, standards, and a few country songs...It sounds great with the Axis guitars..........If I wasn't so lazy..., I would have a million pedals with a 2..12' combo amp....However, I will prob.. buy the Axe FXE 2 next for live and recording......:)

That would be cool Tim. I use the Egnater Renegade 2x12. Heavy little bugger. Great amp.

Kevin?:)

Tim, the AFX II is an excellent unit but can take a hell of a lot of work to get the tones you want. It will be even better when Firmware 10 and Axe Edit software is released soon.

Thanks Simon, it will be a while for me....I had to buy another Cube amp today.....a full coke spilled down the top of my amp and it stopped working...I am just not ready to spend that kind of time and money yet on the Axe Fxe.....At my next house.., if I have a music room to myself.. I will then get one for the studio....These balls sound pretty good with most amps......

True tim, I have an AFX II and I must admit it is incredible with a vast array of pro tones, but to be honest, I can have just as much fun with my POD X3 Pro or even my old Johnson J-station, and that's what it all comes down to I guess? I just spent an hour playing along to Rockin' in the Free world, - Neil Young, me, my green AL HH and POD X3. It was a blast!

Oh I was Tim, for a brief moment in time me and Neil were trading licks and rocking the stadium that is my spare bedroom, or as I like to call it, my home studio. I still managed to fluff the 3 chord chorus section but it didn't seem to matter at the time!

That is hilarious.......Don't feel bad...there is some weird timing in that section......Neil probably fluffed it himself....lol....
