So I needed some work done on my Sterling and I figured who better to send it to than the place where it was built. I didn't find out until after I traded for this bass that the original owner had replaced the original nut . Well the slot for the G was cut too low and I just couldn't get open G to stop buzzing at the 1st fret without a huge amount of relief in the neck. A quick call to customer service(and a few weeks of lagging by me) and it was off to SLO. All I have to say is that Jon is the man because it got there on a Wednesday and he had already replaced the nut and done a setup by Thursday. A few days later she was back home and has never played better. Definitely worth the time and money sending it in to know that it was fixed right. Thanks to Jongitarz and EB Customer Service doing a kick a$$ job and getting it back to me lightning fast!
Here are the pics to prove it..........

Yes!!!!

A little surprise inside the case....

Restored to perfection..........

I have also been "fortunate" enough to have required Jon's assistance - the man exceeds expectations! :D

I havent had a reason to send anything to Jon yet, but Ill take that as a good thing if thats okay ;)

That is a good thing Fig..... I'm sure if the previous owner hadn't messed with my Sterling it would have been fine also. The other positive that came out of this is that I bonded with my SR4 that I was going to sell. I had the Sterling packed up for a few weeks before I actually sent it in and during that time I used the SR4 for 4 shows and a recording session. It sounds so solid onstage and is so comfortable that I just can't sell it now.....it's one of the family

With all this Jon love I'm going to break something just to have him touch it!:D

Jon has worked on Jewel, and as expected it was top notch.

Scott also helped me out today, all the boys and girls rock at customer service!

as for the rest of the MM crew..... I love the reaction on people's faces when they play my Sterling HH and comment on the action/set-up and I go , ya, it came from the factory like that

Jon has put his hands on a couple of my basses, and he is truly a master.

I cant say enough about the work that Jon does.

I am sure that the experience will be the same with the whole SLO crew.

BP: Thanks for running a tight ship and BZs to Jon and the EBMM staff.
