:D w00t! It's here - just got my Ashdown Mag 300 1x15 combo today by UPS. I can't believe how big the sound is for such a small cab. The size is only 19" wide x 12" deep x 23" tall, but it sounds WAY bigger than that. Since it weighs nearly 70 lbs. and I'm def not sending it back, I already mounted casters on it. Also made a 2x12 wood box for it to sit on to raise it a bit. One downside; there is no tweeter or horn, just the 1x15. But the tone controls are variable enough to more than make up for it. I had to push it really hard with the bass settings way up to get it to rap out on the low B. This baby is loud and sounds nice.
Features:
• Active and passive inputs
• Deep switch
• Bright Switch (A must w/ no tweet)
• 5 band switchable EQ
• Variable subharmonizer that doubles what you play an octave down (This actually works quite well for a $400 amp - don't know how much I'll use it though)
• Effects send & return
• Tuner/line out
• XLR D.I. (Post EQ - kind of anxious to see how it sounds)
• The coolest part of all - the input VU meter! It really works well - set your input so that during the loudest peaks the needle gets close but not into the red then adjust your "output" volume.
• (2) speaker outputs - you can unplug the internal 1x15 and use 2 external speakers if you want. I can't wait to see how it sounds adding my Avatar 1x12 w/ horn to the internal 1x15!:D

300 watts - $400 - tiny (yet heavy) package?
Ashdown definitely has my two thumbs up on this one!:D :D :D
