There is no way that these shows can't be amazing. I saw DP in Feb and it so rocked. Do take the time to notice the entire DP schedule. It's Brutal! Also, there is no time left for any Dregs or Steve Morse Band shows. This makes me sad.

Makes me sad that Joe is heading towards the Dinosaur rock bandwagon, sans Steve Morse (was never a huge purple fan), Thin Lizzy isn't even Thin Lizzy.

Not to worry Orange - I saw Purple and Lizzy in Toronto back in February and they smoked. One of the best concerts I have been to, Morse was very much a part of what made it so great.

The only way it could have been better is if Satriani had joined Steve Morse on the stage for the encore....

This is a close as I can get to my G3 wish. Satch, Vai and Morse

As I think about Joe played with Purple before and also toured with Mick Jagger so the dinosaur rock bandwagon is nothing new.

But you are right about Lizzy - its basically Syke's band Blue Murder with Scott Gorham.

He did, but I'm talking doing his instrumental thing. I have a feeling a few people might be sleeping at that point (and I love satriani, he was the first "shred guy" I bowed down to...lol. Then came Morse after I'd learned the ways). I just think it's a mismatch personally. Then again te demographic that would like Joe's work might moreso be on that end then him touring with some more flavor of the week fare.
